- I have been married for 26 years to my wonderful husband and have two
children, a boy, 19, beginning his junior year in college this fall, and a
girl, 15, who will be a sophomore in high school. I am originally from
Northern Arizona, but currently live in Nebraska in corn country!
We have two dogs (one a brand new, rambunctious puppy!) and a water
turtle.
I first began stamping way back in 1992, when I found a couple of fun images at an office store
in Arizona. After moving to Nebraska and discovering a lack of craft stores, I heard about
Stampin' Up! and immediately signed up to be a demonstrator, just so I would have access to
supplies! I didn't stamp a lot, until I found SCS in 2004. Now I have a gallery there,
StampingQueenJAR, and a blog, Joy in a Jar.
When I am not stamping, I am a part-time elementary music teacher in my 27th year of
teaching, and direct the music activities at my church. Occasionally I will throw in a community
theater show as well. This summer I directed "The Music Man", and I am now working with the
high school on "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat".
I am honored to be working with such a great company with high ideals and standards, and with
such beautiful and God-centered designs. I am also thrilled and humbled to be in the company
of such a fantastic and creative group of stampers! Thank you, Kelley, for asking me! I am
looking forward to designing with joy!
